THE 5TH SINGLE ALBUM

Availability Period

8eight of ‘Without a Heart’ embarks on a new challenge with the unconventional digital single and video ‘Availability Period’

The co-ed trio 8eight is releasing their new digital single ‘Availability Period’ that highlights the group’s exciting transformation. ‘Availability Period’, a traditional electronic pop sound that is rarely seen in the Korean music scene, demonstrates 8eight’s experimental spirit.

#The most unconventional music of the early-half of 2010.
Unlike previous 8eight music, the new song is arranged with a provocative synthesizer sound woven with the members’ voices, thus creating a rather unconventional sound. Additionally, the relatable lyrics and emotional voices of 8eight turn unfamiliarity into excitement. Lee Hyun cries out like a wolf to express the sorrow of a break-up; Joo Hee describes a delicate woman who cannot but admit the reality, and Baek Chan wittly compares the end of love to 'Availability Period'. If one follows the members' vocals and rap styles, 'Availability Period' will come as not only a mechanical sound, but a melody with reason

# The Transformation of 8eight embodied in a Provocative Form.
The music video capturing the members’ provocative transformation is directed by Lee Gi-beck who filmed G-Dragon’s ‘Heartbreaker.’ The music video a video art technique that creates an experimental image as unique as the music. The attractiveness of female member Joo Hee, who shows off for the first time her sexy dance moves, and the decadent styling of Back Chan capture the eyes of the viewer.

The most unconventional music of the early-half of 2010, ‘Availability Period’ is to be featured on 8eight’s mini-album [The Bridge], which is set to release on March 30th. As a song showcasing 8eight's unique style, the track was deemed too precious to be obscured and thus was pre-released.
