Chang-min of 2AM and Lee Hyun of 8eight are enjoying the heyday of their bands. Under the guidance of producer Bang Si-hyuk, vocalists Chang-min and Lee Hyun complement each other through music. The official title of the duet project is Homme by “hitman”bang. As the name suggests, Chang-min and Lee Hyun’s masculine, candid voices will heat up the summer of 2010.

Producer Bang Si-hyuk launches his first music project-- Homme by “hitman”bang, the encounter of the scorching sun and masculine voices. Bang Si-hyuk is to bring back the lost summer music that appeals to the public’s sensibility through a new type of music that is not limited by genre. The news that the producer is also preparing to launch Femme by “hitman”bang, which combines the cold sensibility of winter and the scent of women comes amidst high expectations.

Bang Si-hyuk’s first project Homme came to life through Chang-min and Lee Hyun. Despite the fact that there are many well-known vocalists, according to the producer, there was no other option once he thought of the combination of Chang-min and Lee Hyun. And without a question, Homme has exceeded what the producer has long envisioned.

‘I was able to eat’, a Masculine, Candid Song.
The title song ‘I was able to eat’ is a hybrid rock featuring guitar and drum sounds that cool you down and is classic a summer song that ‘makes you want to take a break from everything’. The first part of the song, ‘Even when love leaves / even when the heart is bruised / It’s just the moment / I was able to eat well / It wasn’t like I was going to die,’ is heartbreaking because of its composure. The powerful harmony between Chang-min and Lee Hyun effectively delivers the masculinity of ‘I was able to eat’.

Chang-min and Lee Hyun unveiled their jacket cover, showing their loosened-up suits and ties covered in dust. The quality of the cover surpasses that of a fashion magazine. As exquisite as their excellent vocals, Chang-min and Lee Hyun’s abs catch the viewer's eye. The road-movie music video in which Chang-min and Lee Hyun make appearances features actor Lee Chae-young. Lee Chae-young who is also Chang-min’s acquaintance, readily agreed to appear in the music video when Chang-min asked her to do so. Rumour has it that Lee Chae-young's gorgeous dance moves heated up the shooting set.

July 28th, the actual beginning of summer. ‘I was able to eat’ by Chang-min and Lee Hyun will be the perfect companion when leaving the crowded city. Chang-min and Lee Hyun’s HOMME by “hitman”bang will be released online this July 28th as a digital single.
