THE 15TH SINGLE ALBUM
Ain't no love
Homme’s second sensible ballad that touches upon the loneliness that come with late fall is to be released
Digital single ‘Ain’t No Love’ to be released on November 3!
The male duo Homme will release ‘Ain’t No Love’, a digital single. Following the duo's special single released last October, ‘No More Cry’, is an emotional ballad that will make your pain of a breakup even greater along with the loneliness felt during the late fall.
‘Ain’t No Love’ is a retro-style Brit-pop ballad written by Kim Won, who wrote 15&’s ‘Love Is Madness’, and LYn’s ‘Miss You… Crying’. All throughout the song, there are no parts repeated due to the diversified arrangement, which makes it more fun for the listeners.
The song starts out with low vocals, ‘I kept acting like I was stupid even when I knew’. The song keeps resenting and clinging to the parted one, or blaming oneself for not being able to move on. In the ceaseless pain, one realizes the fact that ‘something too much painful ain’t no love’. However, there is no way to stop the pain of a broken heart. The song shows that it is even more painful because one has to accept the reality that love has ended.
The song begins with quiet sounds of the leaves falling onto the ground, as if each leaf is being piled up one by one, enabling listeners to fully focus. Chang-min and Lee Hyun’s voices slowly layers upon the heavy piano line followed by the sounds of the drums and guitar. The brilliant sound of a vibraphone adds a sense of sorrow like autumn rain falling outside the window. As the song reaches its climax as it progresses, the vocals of Homme is maximized further. What may seem like one is crying out and other times restrained vocals present a man's deep emotions that cannot be easily done by others.
Listeners who have experienced a heartbreak will be able to easily empathize with the lyrics along with its refined melody and the vocals of Chang-min and Lee Hyun that have become even more emotional. Take a moment to appreciate their breakup story of autumn.
