8eight, who were recognized with songs such as ‘Without a Heart’ and ‘Farewell is Coming’, is returning on June 21 with their new album [8eight].

The album was produced by 8eight, thus showing the musical growth they have achieved so far. The mini album titled [8eight] contains the members’ musical color and sincerity. Claiming their musical independence from their reliable supporter Bang Si-hyuk, the team not only wrote and produced the songs and lyrics, but also looked for songwriters who would write songs that best fit them. This is how the music of 8eight has been created.

8eight, who were known for their unique UCC even before their debut, released several UCC videos including a premiere live video and a parody acapella ahead of the album release. The video showing fantastic harmony of the music and the members' vocals, revealed their daily lives that is always accompanied by music.

The MV of the title song ‘Covering Those Lips’, starring Roh Jihoon and Cho Seongha, started out with two teasers to boost anticipation of what was going to happen in the full version. The movie-like production and the picturesque display joined by the charming voice of 8eight garnered enthusiastic response. Actor Cho Seongha, who rose to fame by starring in the TV series [Sungkyunkwan Scandal], perfectly portrayed an agonized novelist. Also, Roh Jihoon from [The Great Birth] played the main character of the novel written by Cho Seongha, delivering a heart-touching performance. The MV presented a surrealistic atmosphere in which the real world and the virtual world cross as the novelist’s writing turns into reality.
